The Magical Isle of Arran
Arran or Scotland en miniature as it's called by many is an island with a very special charm. Some call it magical. In some sources it is even mentioned as one of the few locations of the legendary Avalon. True is, it's beautiful. To learn more about it or to tempt you to experience it for yourself, go to www.visit-isle-of-arran.eu, the comprehensive Tourism Directory for Arran.

If You Love Art...
...you simply have to visit the website of my friend Josephine Broekhuizen. I just love her clear and crisp paintings. Every brushstroke breathes artistic confidence.  So have a look at her virtual gallery.

Josephine is married to the Scottish sculptor and painter Tim Pomeroy. His sculptures are simply beautiful. I love the harmony they express. And I'm sure, there is no other who can chisel a screw or a rope out of granite or marble the way he can. My absolute favourite is the spiral. At the moment, he is working on a Baptimal for the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Glasgow, and I hardly can wait until it will be finished.
